Cybermemesis

Cybermemesis is a neologism combining cybernetic and memesis, with memesis itself a neologism referring to the mode of formation of memes. It's meant to denote the process by which representations come into existence, are stabilized via their interactions with the environment, but subsequently destabilize the environment and thus themselves. This is a process that ultimately allows for the open-ended evolution of what we call "agents", what in more classical philosophy might be referred to as becoming.
